Beijing News Shell Finance (Reporter Chen Weicheng) On July 23, Didi Chuxing and DingTalk announced that they had recently signed a cooperation agreement. The two parties will jointly build and optimize the ride-sharing products for DingTalk users, integrate and innovate with the DingTalk platform and business scenarios, and jointly explore new growth opportunities in both parties' business areas.

According to the cooperation agreement, the two parties will initially promote the integration of Didi Hitch's capabilities into the DingTalk platform. This means that in the future, DingTalk users will be able to directly call Didi Hitch within the DingTalk App. Later on the DingTalk platform, not only passengers can call for a ride, but car owners who commute by car are also expected to share empty seats by publishing travel routes.

According to the Frost & Sullivan report, the compound annual growth rate of ride-sharing is expected to reach 29.4% from 2024 to 2028. According to a previous user survey of Didi Hitch, the top three usage scenarios of ride-sharing are: commuting, going out to handle personal affairs, and returning home to visit relatives, accounting for 64.08%, 42.3%, and 31.92% respectively.

Data shows that in 2023, the number of Didi Hitch rides increased by 38.3% year-on-year. As of now, Didi Chuxing has 360 million registered users and more than 17 million certified private car owners. DingTalk currently has more than 700 million registered users, and more than 72% of the users surveyed said they had used a ride-sharing service.
