We have previously reported that the development version of Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 has been leaked recently. Although the spoilers of the sneak peek will ruin the surprise, judging from the community's reaction, the leak of the game seems to have brought some positive effects.

A player posted on Reddit that he was initially worried about the quality of the game, but was relieved after watching the leaked clips. Many players also said that they directly pre-ordered the official version of the game after playing the development version.

After the development version was leaked, publisher Focus Entertainment pleaded with players not to search and spread it, and to avoid spoilers before the game is officially released.
