According to IT Home on July 21, GAC Aion's second-generation AION V will be officially launched on July 23, positioning itself as a pure electric SUV. For reference, the current AION V guide price is 149,900 yuan.


The second-generation AION V made its debut at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show held in April this year, featuring a new hard-core mechanical design, "dragon claw" headlights, and "keel" waistline. The car uses a new generation of AEP pure electric digital platform, with a 20% increase in interior space, a length of 4605mm, and a wheelbase of 2775mm.


The car claims a range of up to 750km, and for the first time uses silicon carbide on a 400V platform, supporting "15 minutes charging 370 km". In terms of safety, the vehicle is equipped with a second-generation magazine battery, which is said to "not catch fire when shot".
