Beijing News Shell Finance reported that on July 18, the Palace Museum Training School in Dongcheng District, Beijing (hereinafter referred to as "Palace Museum School") signed a public welfare education cooperation agreement with the watch brand Vacheron Constantin. According to the agreement, the two parties will officially launch courses in the fields of watch appreciation and general history from October this year, and actively explore cooperation forms such as public welfare education and research courses, using watches as a medium to jointly promote cultural inheritance and the continuation of skills.

According to the information, the Palace Museum School is a window demonstration education base for the Palace Museum to spread traditional culture to the public and play a role in social education. Yan Hongbin, chairman of the Palace Museum School, said: "European mechanical clocks began to be introduced into China in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties. In the 18th century, the Qing court used a large number of mechanical clocks. These clocks and relics that carry historical and cultural information and have a high level of art are an indispensable part of the Palace Museum's collection. It is worth and necessary to have special courses to promote them to the public."

According to the latest financial report of Richemont Group, the parent company of Vacheron Constantin, in the three months ending June 30, the group's sales increased by 1% year-on-year to 5.268 billion euros at a constant exchange rate.
