Personally, I feel that the living room is the most comfortable place to stay in this cramped 22㎡ home.

Although the windows themselves are very narrow and there is a wall in the middle, fortunately the height is sufficient to meet the ventilation and lighting needs of the home.

A double-seater sofa paired with a single sofa turns the living room into a leisurely reception area. The white walls are also covered with various small colorful paintings and photos. Just looking at this small corner, you really don’t feel like you are living in a 22-square-meter tiny home.

Personally, I prefer this small coffee table in the living room. It is much smaller than the ordinary coffee table, but larger and shorter than the side table. When placed on the checkerboard carpet, it really feels like a miniature furniture, which is both cute and practical.

The most special arrangement in this tiny apartment is definitely the bathtub hidden in the cupboard opposite the living room.

Austin doesn't watch TV often, so he didn't leave a TV wall when decorating his house. Instead, he chose to leave more space for storage - the set of large cabinets opposite the living room is the best evidence of this. Of course, it's not all for storage.

A cabinet door and a curtain are both made in matching waistline dividing colors. After rolling up the curtain on the left, I found that there was a bathtub hidden inside, and the shower curtain was used to divide the wet and dry areas. I was really surprised.

Austin said that the reason he chose to put the bathtub opposite the living room was, on the one hand, because the bathroom at home was too small and it was inconvenient to take a bath, and on the other hand, it could share the drainage pipe with the kitchen sink next to it, killing two birds with one stone.

Next to the bathtub is a standard closet. I guess he reduced the size of the kitchen cabinets during the renovation and embedded the bathtub into the groove between the closet and the small cabinet. I am really impressed by this fantastic idea.

Bedroom bed frame raised for storage

Turning into the bedroom, there was almost only enough space for a bed and a set of low cabinets.

Some large clothes and seasonal bedding can all be stuffed under the bed and only taken out twice a year, so there is no need to worry about inconvenience; the top of the cabinet opposite is also filled with shelves, which can be used for both storage and decoration.

Interesting decorations at home

The small bamboo rack in the corner of the living room is very interesting. It was originally a small stool with a magazine storage rack, but Austin used it as a record rack for a vinyl player, and it was just right to put vinyl records next to it.

The corner next to the floor-to-ceiling window is equivalent to the reading corner at home. The mushroom table lamp, wall niche bookshelf and disco light ball are placed here, which really has a retro charm.
