198㎡. After analyzing the house conditions, it was found that the original ceiling and beams were too low. In order to reverse the oppressive feeling and resolve the dark room, "improving lighting and bringing light into the room" is the focus of this renovation. Looking through the overall building structure, breaking down unnecessary partitions, guiding the light flow and sorting out the functional orientations required by family members one by one, adding delicate and practical ingenuity to the simple style, not only realizing an open kitchen but also considerately designing barrier-free design.

The downstairs of this duplex house is a public area, and the upstairs is a private area. The original two bedrooms were connected to serve as a filial room and a cloakroom. The second floor is defined as a living room for the owner to relax and have fun, as well as the master bedroom and the second bedroom.

First floor living room

The living room on the first floor has an open layout with a simple design, which is clean and transparent. The heavy coffee table is abandoned and replaced with a flexible and light small coffee table, allowing the living room to retain more spacious activity space. The pure white space is blended with log-colored perforated boards and steel-baked doors, creating a harmonious picture. The black track light design enhances the three-dimensional lines of the space.

Second floor master bedroom

A touch of coral red adds a visual surprise to the master bedroom. The pink color just dilutes the height difference of the ceiling. The gray cloth design at the head of the bed creates a quiet sleeping atmosphere.
