TCL launches 50 XL and 50 XE NXTPAPER 5G phones, starting at $149

IT Home reported on July 18 that TCL launched two mobile phones, TCL 50 5G and TCL 50 SE, at CES 2024 in January this year, both starting at 149.99 euros (IT Home Note: currently about 1,190 yuan).

TCL has now launched the new TCL50 XL and 50 XENXTPAPER models in North America. The TCL 50 XL NXTPAPER 5G is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chip, a 6.8-inch NXTPAPER eye-protection screen, a 1080 X 2460 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate.

The phone uses a rear 50MP main camera + 5MP ultra-wide-angle + 2MP depth of field camera, a front 32MP selfie camera, a built-in 5010mAh battery, supports 18W fast charging, side fingerprint unlocking, and is pre-installed with Android 14 system. The 6+128GB version starts at US$199 (currently about RMB 1,449).

The parameters of TCL 50 XE NXTPAPER 5G are basically the same, but it uses a 6.6-inch display with only 720 x 1612 resolution, 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate, front 8MP lens, and the 4+128GB version starts at US$149 (currently about RMB 1,085).
