The beauty of the Lop Nur No Man's Land is unmatched by any other scenic spot. The reason is simple, because there is no one here, it is a no man's land! All the landscapes retain their original natural appearance without any traces of man-made things!—— Preface

Primitive Tribe Series, the stories are full of charm!

Lop Nur and the ancient kingdom of Loulan, which prospered because of it, once attracted many explorers from home and abroad. Over the past thousands of years, many Chinese and foreign explorers have come to Lop Nur for investigation, written many monographs and famous articles, and published many reports about Lop Nur. However, due to various limitations and prejudices, many errors have been made, and the disappearance of geologist Peng Jiamu and the death of explorer Yu Chunshun have cast a mysterious color on Lop Nur.

Dahaidao refers to a section of the ancient Silk Road. It was originally a sea, but after hundreds of years of land changes, it has now been desertified and turned into a Gobi desert. It belongs to the Hami area in Xinjiang.

The original underwater world has undergone weathering and sand erosion, leaving behind extremely spectacular Yadan landforms standing in the Gobi Desert, without any traces of artificial carvings, creating a natural and excellent scene for shooting environmental portraits.

As there are no obstructions on all sides, sunset and sunrise are both excellent locations for photographing. Also, due to the clear air and proximity to the atmosphere, the starry sky is extremely bright at night and the foreground can be chosen everywhere, making it an ideal location for photographing the starry sky and the Milky Way.

The Dahaidao is the most legendary section of the Silk Road, where ancient castles, pirate ships, beacon towers, post stations, prehistoric human settlement sites, fossil mountains, mirages, herds of wild desert camels, and many rare geographical features are gathered.

The starry sky at night was extremely beautiful and bright. It was difficult to fall asleep in the tent, so I just kept taking pictures all night.

As a channel for communication between Chinese and Western civilizations in ancient times, the Silk Road has always attracted the attention of the academic community due to its great role in the history of human civilization exchanges. With the deepening of academic research, most sections of the Silk Road have been gradually unveiled, but the specific route of the Dahaidao is still buried in the dust of history, including the ruins of the ancient kingdom of Loulan that has disappeared. Only when you come to Dahaidao, you can deeply appreciate the endless beauty left by the Silk Road.

The "Great Sea Road" was the bond that maintained the unity of the Western Regions and the Central Plains during certain periods of the history of the Western Regions during the Han and Tang Dynasties. Its important historical role is self-evident. Therefore, the exploration of the "Great Sea Road" will surely help reveal the mysteries of historical events related to it and promote the progress of Western Region history research. At the same time, the exploration of the "Great Sea Road" also has very important practical significance.

At present, the legend of "Dahaidao" is only spread among the photographers. However, Dahaidao is only one of the scenic spots in the uninhabited area of Lop Nur, and it is definitely not the most beautiful one. There are more striking scenic spots such as 71 and 128 (the names in the legend are "Xiao Nanhu" and "Da Nanhu"). Although it is called a lake, there is not a drop of water, and plants and animals cannot survive. Various sandstones carved by wind and sand for thousands of years give people an extraordinary visual impact, making photographers ecstatic and forget themselves.

Starting from the urban area of Hami, follow the Haruo Highway towards Lop Nur at 71 and 82 kilometers, and go 20 kilometers deep into the Gobi Desert to the right, you can reach the extremely beautiful Xiaonan Lake, which is divided into two pit areas, east and west, 5 kilometers apart.

The wind-eroded gravel lines on the east side are strong, while the west side is pure and charming, two completely different styles.

Exit Xiaonanhu and return to the Harrow Highway to the direction of Lop Nur. At 128 km, turn left and go 15 km deep into the Gobi Desert. You will enter the Nanhu Grand Canyon, also known as the Great Nanhu. This is a Gobi canyon with a width of 5-8 km and a length of dozens of kilometers. Various rare landforms are distributed in the canyon, which is very spectacular! It seems that you have arrived on the surface of an alien planet!

If you go north and south from the Haruo Highway to the Luozhong direction through Lop Nur, and go deep into the Gobi Desert at 380 kilometers, you will enter the Bailongdui Yadan Group. Located to the north of Lop Lake, on the only way to the ancient city of Loulan, its beauty lies in its mysterious color. It is developed on the basis of gray-white sandstone and gypsum layers. The mounds are more than ten meters high and extend very long and winding. The short ones are hundreds of meters and the long ones are several kilometers long. From a distance, they look like white dragons crouching in the desert, and the small hills extending outside are like dragon claws extending everywhere.

This is a masterpiece of nature, which can be called the work of nature, desolate beauty. In the distance is the famous ruins of the ancient city of Loulan. It is said that about 100 million years ago, this place was once a large lake in Junggar, where countless dinosaurs lived. However, with the changes in the world and the movement of the earth's crust, along with the great changes in time and space, the lake disappeared, and land, mountains or reefs rose from the bottom of the lake. Sunlight, wind and rain became the tools for carving Yadan, allowing them to be formed through the caressing and polishing of the years.

It is both lovely and terrifying, full of magic and weirdness. It is shrouded in loneliness and desolation, and displays a disharmonious beauty in a scattered manner. It is a wild, natural and primitive shock to the soul!

Behind the Bailongdui Desert to the west are the ruins of the once prosperous ancient city of Loulan!

Going along the Haruo Highway, we arrived at Lop Nur Town, which is the base of the Luo Potassium Salt Mine. There lies a salt lake formed by dozens of "lakes", stretching over dozens of square kilometers of water surface, dotted with open-air brine salt piles like strings of pearls. Looking around, the salt blocks of different sizes, round or square, "floating" on the lake surface seem like the surface of the Arctic Ocean. And the lake embankments of each salt lake have beautiful salt flowers of realistic shapes and shapes "blooming". Surrounding the salt lake, the water surface is calm, becoming a real sky realm. Just take a picture of the lake to show the sky, which always makes people linger.

The Xiaohe Cemetery in Lop Nur is 175 kilometers east of the ruins of the ancient city of Loulan. The Xiaohe Cemetery is composed of several layers of tombs and other remains, and its appearance is an oval sand hill that rises abruptly in the desert with relatively flat sand dunes. Following the archaeological excavation of the Niya Ruins and the Han and Jin Tombs in Yuli Yingpan, the archaeological project of the Xiaohe Cemetery in Lop Nur has been shortlisted for the top ten archaeological discoveries of the year in China for the third time.

Other scenic spots involved include the Sandaoling No Man's Land.

Nanhu Desert - its landforms include sand pits, honeycomb-shaped sand, flat sand, wavy sand dunes, fish-scale sand slopes, and a mixture of desert and Gobi.

The sand dunes have clear contours and distinct layers; the ridges are smooth and flowing, the sand slopes on the windward side are like water, and the sand on the leeward side is like flowing water. Standing on the top of the sand dunes deep in the desert, you can watch the gorgeous sunrise in the desert, witness the colorful sunset dyeing the sand, and admire the magnificent scenery of "the smoke in the desert is straight, and the sun is setting on the long river".
