The disclosure of mid-term performance forecasts of A-share listed companies has come to an end, with more than 1,500 listed companies disclosing performance forecasts. The performance forecast rates of sectors such as electricity, semiconductors, nonferrous metals, and automobiles are relatively high, and sub-sectors such as pig farming have shown obvious signs of performance reversal.

As of 19:00 on July 14, according to Wind statistics, a total of 1,561 listed companies disclosed performance forecasts. Among them, the number of listed companies with positive performance changes (i.e. slight increase, turnaround, continued profit, and expected increase) was 657, accounting for more than 40%. The semi-annual report disclosure season is about to begin. According to the scheduled disclosure situation, the first semi-annual report of A shares in 2024 is expected to be disclosed by CICC Irradiation on July 16.

According to the exchange regulations, the disclosure period for the semi-annual performance forecast is from July 1 to July 15. Listed companies on the main board must disclose the semi-annual performance forecast if they have any of the following three situations: "net profit is negative, net profit has turned losses into profits, and net profit has increased or decreased by more than 50% compared with the same period last year". Other listed companies can choose whether to disclose it voluntarily. (Securities Times)
