The unannounced Aliens Fireteam Elite 2 has been leaked, with news of the game spreading on Reddit.

According to screenshots posted by netizens on Reddit, "Alien: Fireteam 2" is codenamed Project Macondo and will be released in the third quarter of 2025. As the sequel to "Alien: Fireteam", a new game mode "Annihilation" has been added, which is actually the Horde Modes of other similar shooting games.

Additionally, unlike the original game, Alien: Fireteam 2 features pre-set and non-customizable characters. There are no microtransactions, loot boxes, or other pay-to-win mechanics.

There is no built-in voice chat in the game, and players are advised to use the voice chat app in the host.

"Alien: Fireteam 1" will be released in 2023 and will be jointly developed by Cold Iron and Disney's 20th Century Games.
