yu changming, male, han nationality, was born in march 1965 in emeishan, sichuan. he joined the communist party of china in april 1985 and started working in july 1984. he has a postgraduate degree from southwest agricultural university, a doctorate in agronomy, and is an economist.

in july 2015, yu changming was appointed secretary of the qianjiang district committee of chongqing, and in august 2021, he was appointed secretary of the dadukou district committee of chongqing.

on september 1, 2023, the first inspection team of the chongqing municipal party committee reported the inspection results to the dadukou district party committee.

the inspection team reported that the inspection had found some problems, including that the implementation of the "two responsibilities" of comprehensive and strict governance of the party was not strong enough, and corruption risks were prominent in key areas and key links such as government procurement, engineering construction, and state-owned enterprise financing; the party's leadership role was not fully exerted, there were gaps in the implementation of cadre policies, and there were weak links in grassroots organization building; and some problems reported by inspections and audits had not been rectified sufficiently.
